Establishing the B InTune Foundation Groups role as an educational leader in the 21st century is a primary goal of CEO Eugene Maillard whose years of experience arms him with a broad base expertise in the public and private sectors, in both for-profit and non-profit arenas and on both international and domestic levels. With these tools, Mr. Maillard is leading the effort to impact and substantially increase educational reach, and attract corporate and governmental support and build long term cause marketing relationships.

Mr. Maillard’s day to day responsibilities include managing all B InTune media properties – TV – Radio -- Print – Internet - and building on the foundation’s ambitious objective of creating a comprehensive and pervasive arc of programs and initiatives designed to advance music education for students across the U.S.A. and around the world with funding from the United States Congress through the U.S. Department of Education the Foundation’s programs and Partnerships including the B InTune Media Center in downtown Washington, D.C. with the Smithsonian and Library of Congress, the B InTune Radio Network with Live 365, B InTune LIVE – a nationally recognized school concert series conveying positive messages of hope and inspiration as well as InTune Monthly Magazine which now reaches every middle and high school music classroom in America.

B InTune TV in partnership with VIACOM and the CBS Television Group. The designated show Educational and Informational by the F.C.C. The show features appearances by major talent such as Coldplay, The Goo Goo Dolls, Alicia Keys, Clint Eastwood and Cuba Gooding, Jr. as well as behind the scenes information about the industry, lessons and insights from and for musicians. Mr. Maillard is Executive Producer and creator of B InTune TV, a weekly show which is seen nationally throughout the U.S.A

Previously Mr. Maillard was Executive Director of The GRAMMY Foundation, there he oversaw the nationally recognized Leonard Berstein Center for Learning (LBC), which prepares K-12 teachers to use arts and the artistic process to strengthen teaching and learning in all subjects. The Leonard Berstein Center received the endorsement of New American Schools as one of its nine comprehensive school designs and the only arts-centered school reform model.

Mr. Maillard was the driving force in securing grants and sponsorships from Ford Motor Company, Proctor and Gamble, Target Stores, and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Through his efforts, the Foundation joined forces with the National Mentoring Partnership, Mentoring U.S.A. and Colin Powell’s America’s Promise organization to promote a nationwide mentoring effort to provide much needed support to youngsters.

Mr. Maillard previously served as Chief Executive Officer of John F. Kennedy Center’s Very Special Arts (VSA), in Washington, D.C., It cause-marketing, arts, licensing, and international experience expanding the program into 50 states and 75 countries.

Mr. Maillard organized many International Arts Events/ Festivals in Rome at the Vatican with the late Pope John Paul II, Taipei, Brussels and Paris for Children with disabilities.

Mr. Maillard, working directly with the Chairman and CEO of the multi-billion dollar Company, Kraft Jacobs Suchard, created and implemented for the first time in Europe, a unique cause-related marketing program which featured images by artists with disabilities from 16 countries, focusing on licensing of note cards, holiday cards and calendars which were produced in 11 languages and distributed throughout Europe.

On the domestic marketing group front, Mr. Maillard worked with ITT Chairman Rand Arakog on programs with a number of ITT divisions, including a licensing program for Sheraton Hotels across the country. This program included a viewer tie-in campaign for an Emmy-Award winning NBC prime time special, “From the Heart,” which was only one of many network television specials he Executive Produced.

With Phillips Electric, Polygram Records Division, Mr. Maillard created a clothing line and print materials featuring the artwork of Bono of the renowned rock group, U2 as well as a music video which aired on MTV.

Mr. Maillard’s work in the fine art world included serving as CEO of Renaissance Fine Art & Collectibles which published, distributed and represented some of the world’s leading artists, both domestically and abroad, including Hiro Yamagata and Howard Behrens, to name a few.

Mr. Maillard also founded Diversified Ventures International, a management company specializing in international trade, entertainment, marketing of new products and development of new technologies. Additionally, two key areas of focus are in non-profit development and cultural and educational exchanges. Under his management, its roster included clients as diverse as Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Really Useful Company and the World Cup 2002 in Japan and Korea.

Mr. Maillard proudly served as Executive Director of the White House 200th Anniversary program and has done extensive work with presidential administrations, including Pres. George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Pres. Ronald Reagan, as well as many current and retired members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives.
